ALAN C. OLSON: Our firm has seen a lot of abusive practices by the insurance companies over the years. Many of our clients, when they first come to see us, they're very frustrated with the insurance carrier. The insurance carrier has just been downright sloppy in the handling of their case. They've misstated their medical diagnosis. They've included medical records from some other person. And our clients feel that the insurance company has not given serious regard to their disability.
