Experience
Employment Law

Workers Compensation Law

Personal Injury and Property Damage

My practice is devoted solely to representing employees to ensure that they are treated in a manner that is free from discrimination, that they are allowed to make use of the laws intended to protect them, such as the Family Medical Leave Act, without fear of retaliation, and to ensure that employees injured on the job receive all of the care and benefits they are entitled to under Wisconsin law.

My experience includes litigating and settling cases in administrative venues (Equal Rights Division and Worker's Compensation Division) as well as Wisconsin's Circuit Courts. Prior to joining the firm, my experience entailed defense work. As a former defense attorney, I have firsthand knowledge of what my opponent's defenses and techniques will be. This knowledge allows me to anticipate and weaken those defenses.

I am passionate about my job and about advocating for my clients' rights. I am very aggressive on my cases and provide clear and consistent updates to my clients so they never have to wonder what is happening on their cases. I work closely with the other members of the firm to ensure the best possible outcome for each client.

When not working, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, cooking, exercising and watching movies.

Experience
Employment Law and Litigation

I devote my law practice exclusively to employment law and litigation. I counsel clients and litigate their employment claims in federal and state courts and administrative agencies. In my practice, client communication is key. One of my primary objectives is to develop a strong rapport with each client for purposes of integrating them into our firm’s team of employment law experts.

Prior to joining the firm, my professional experience includes work for an employment law firm regarding matters pending with the Equal Rights Division. I also clerked during law school with the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission focusing on the Americans With Disabilities Act.

I am a graduate of the Marquette University Law School where I served as the Vice President, Treasurer, of the Labor and Employment Law Society. I was also the Managing Editor of the Marquette University Law School Elder’s Advisor.

When not working, I enjoy the outdoors, my horses, swimming, coaching, and theatre.
